Amanda returns for an eighth summer in Maine leading the reserve's day camps for kids. During the school year, she has worked as a teachers assistant, often with special needs children.
Amanda holds a B.S. in zoology from Michigan State University. She has worked at the Binder Park Zoo in Battle Creek, Michiganfirst as zoo educator, then education supervisor, then education curator.
