Graham Diedrich

Graham Diedrich is an interdisciplinary social scientist with a strong focus on climate change, sustainable resource governance, and environmental justice. He brings over four years of experience working on clean energy systems and environmental policy, blending data science with real-world applications. Graham integrates community engagement and science communication into his work, fostering partnerships with local, state, and federal government agencies to promote long-lasting solutions to environmental issues.

Graham is currently pursuing a Master of Science (M.S.) in Data Science at Michigan State University. His research focuses on the integration of environmental justice principles into clean energy and coastal resiliency. He employs interdisciplinary methods to assess policy impacts on marginalized communities and the environment.

In addition to his graduate studies, Graham has held research appointments at the Smithsonian Institution, U.S. Department of Energy, and University of Michigan Graham Sustainability Institute, contributing to various projects that explored solar energy and equity in farming, community benefits planning, and greenhouse gas reduction strategies. He is also a 2024 U.S. Fulbright recipient, working on climate policy solutions aimed at fostering a more sustainable and equitable planet.
