Chloe was a Maine Coast Heritage Trust Richard G. Rockefeller Conservation Intern working within the stewardship program. During her internship, she was a rising junior at Keene State College majoring in environmental studies and Holocaust and genocide studies.
Chloe's activities at the reserve included leading a volunteer team removing invasive species, compiling data to develop a species inventory, researching prevention and removal strategies for invasive browntail moths and Asian longhorn beetles, compiling best practices for managing grassland habitat with biodiversity and native species promotion in mind, and assisting in stewardship and research field work such as measuring green crabs, recording data from a YSI device, and using GIS leveling technology.
