When shes not at the reserve Vanessa enjoys hiking, birdwatching, XC skiing, and loves watching movies with her husband and two cats.
Choice of Mascot?
It would have to be the New England cottontail. A perfect example of why the reserve puts so much thought and energy into maintaining our early successional habitat, plus& who doesnt love a bunny.
Favorite Place at the Reserve?
The more western lookout spot off the Farley Trail. A lovely view of the Little River salt marsh and the ocean beyond. Its a great place to watch Canada geese and other wildlife without disturbing them.
