Moon rise is at 6:13pm, so we will observe the moon rising from one of the highest points in Wells, while the sun sets behind us. Join us to experience the Reserve at night, listening for animals and owls. The October Moon was often called the Hunter's Moon, or the Travel Moon, or the Dying Moon, as well as other names. Discover moon lure, poems and stories, and spend time quietly communing. We will gather in a gratitude circle on the beach before returning to the parking lot. This is a great family experience for those who can enjoy the quiet.
