Join us for a family-friendly hands-on workshop to learn about native plants. Native plants are those that have evolved and adapted to a given location over millennia. We will cover planting native seeds in pots. We'll also be making native seed balls - a fun way to gently seed your environs in ways that attempt to mimic nature to help restore beautiful plants that are well adapted to this area. Local seeds and materials will be provided to plant a small pot of native seeds or make a small handful of seed balls. This program, led by University of Maine Extension Master Gardener Volunteers Ginger Laurits & Allan Amioka, is part of the All Seasons Garden series brought to the Wells Reserve at Laudholm by York County Master Gardener Volunteers.
