Why do leaves change color in the fall? Why do some leaves turn earlier than others? Discover the answers to these questions and more during this guided hike through the autumn woods with experienced Reserve docent, naturalist, nature writer, and University of New Hampshire instructor in dendrology (the study of trees), Eileen Willard. Ages 12 and up.

The Wells Reserve operates in accordance with orders from the Governor of Maine and instructions from the Maine Center for Disease Control.
