Rising sea levels impact our coastal infrastructure in an increasingly dramatic fashion. Less obvious, however, is the impact of erosion on coastal heritage and archaeology — a worldwide issue which disproportionally impacts coastal indigenous communities. This talk explores how archaeologists are responding to the rapid destruction of coastal archaeological sites in Maine.
This Ted Exford Climate Stewards lecture is supported by Dave & Loretta (Exford) Hoglund.
