Most of us are aware of how dangerous the threats of climate change have become. This will be a presentation and discussion of efforts now underway to not merely adapt to sea level rise and other impacts, but to push back. This will include not merely reduction of fossil fuel use, but also carbon dioxide reduction, enhancement of natural carbon sequestration and furtherance of natural and technical means of restoring healthy air and a vibrant natural environment. We will also touch on encouraging signs of affirmative actions taking place on political and business fronts. Our speaker and discussion leader, David Kunhardt, is a trained Climate Reality Leadership Corps mentor, a retired leader of a solar benefit corporation, and a long-time volunteer with Citizens Climate Lobby.
This Ted Exford Climate Stewards lecture is supported by Dave & Loretta (Exford) Hoglund.
