Submission Deadline: 40th Anniversary Calendar Photo Contest
Submit your best images of the Wells Reserve for a chance to be featured in our special 40th anniversary calendar. Submission deadline is March 31.
About the contest
This year the Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve marks 40 years since its designation. As part of our commemoration of this milestone, we will publish an 18-month calendar featuring images created by our community. To become part of the 2024-25 calendar project, select your very best pieces or hatch a plan to create something amazing. We are eager to see your work. Submission deadline: March 31.
Rules
- All entries must be photographs taken within the protected area of the Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve (see map) or artwork depicting that area.
- Each creator may submit up to three entries.
- Photographs may be color or black-and-white. Cropping and editing are permitted.
- Other artwork (for example, watercolor, oil, pen-and-ink) must be scanned or photographed for submittal. For these entries, the original artist is considered the creator.
- Image must be in landscape orientation (horizontal).
- Image should be high resolution JPG format (at least 300 dpi; at least 2550 x 3300 pixels).
- Image must bear no watermarks.
- Image must have been created during the 40 years since the Wells Reserve was designated.
- Wells Reserve and Laudholm Trust staff are not eligible to participate in this contest.
