This event is handicap accessibleBrian Gibson will be presenting about everything he has done throughout his summer internship at the Reserve. He will provide a brief introduction to the ecoacoustics project in which he had a large part in analyzing, along with images showing the progress made with the invasive species removal project. He will also be presenting about other various projects he has been a part of. Following the presentation in the auditorium, Brian will take folks who are interested on a quick tour of the invasive species removal team's sites along the trails.
About the Presenter
Brian Gibson is the Maine Coast Heritage Trust Richard G. Rockefeller Conservation Intern working with the Reserve’s stewardship and facilities departments this summer. He is from Massachusetts, but has family that lives in Wells so has been visiting the area since he was born. Brian is studying environmental studies and statistics at Connecticut College, where he will be a junior in the fall.
