Join Linda Littlefield Grenfell for a walk on the Saw-whet Owl Trail to experience the very late summer woods. What stories do these woods tell? Are there any birds around? What signs of mammals are there? What are plants and animals doing to prepare for winter? How has the climate crisis affected them? What ferns will we see? What plants will be green through the winter? This will be a slow exploration of the woods, which will finish with a discussion of trees at the Forest Learning Shelter along the trail.
