This presentation will discuss the archaeological research conducted in the Cape Porpoise Archipelago since 2016 by the Cape Porpoise Archaeological Alliance (CPAA), which is a partnership program of the Brick Store Museum and Kennebunkport Conservation Trust. CPAA is a professionally led program that encourages citizen science efforts in documenting evidence of sites threatened by global sea level rise. Research there has documented 7,000 years of human occupation providing new information to the archaeological record of the Far Northeast.
This Ted Exford Climate Stewards lecture is supported by Dave & Loretta (Exford) Hoglund.
