Enjoy a tour of the 34acre parcel the Wells Reserve is managing for the production of timber while protecting water quality, enhancing wildlife, and accommodating recreation. A timber harvest was conducted in 2012 and follow up work has included re-establishing trails, pruning trees, and controlling invasive species. Learn how a forest responds to active management while providing economic benefits.
