Join Maine Master Naturalist, Certified Interpretive Guide, and Reserve Executive Director Emeritus Paul Dest to learn about nature’s engineer, the North American Beaver. A self-described “beaver believer,” Paul will cover the life history and ecology of this fascinating rodent. Participants will take a short walk along the Merriland River to see a beaver lodge, dam, and other visual signs of the beaver’s presence in the adjacent forest.
