Brad Timm is a wildlife ecologist, author, and educator with more than 20 years of wildlife research experience. He is the founder of the Northeast Wildlife Team, an organization focused on helping people better understand local wildlife and empowering them to take simple, meaningful actions to help nature all around them to thrive.

Brad is the author of the Wildlife Out Your Window regional wildlife guidebook series, and the newly published book America Is Wild! (released on March 3, 2026), a beautifully illustrated encyclopedia featuring nearly 200 animals and 200 plants from across the U.S., with four animals and four plants for each state. Brad holds M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in wildlife conservation, and is passionate about making nature accessible—and exciting—for everyone, right where they live.
