Native plants are those that have evolved and adapted to a specific location (and have remained genetically unaltered by humans).

Join us for a family-friendly hands-on workshop to learn about native plants and to make native seed balls to help restore beautiful plants that are well adapted to this area. We will also cover planting native seeds in pots. Local seeds and material will be provided to make a small handful of seed balls.

This program, led by University of Maine Extension Master Gardener Volunteers Ginger Laurits, Jolene Staruch & Allan Amioka, is part of the All Seasons Garden series brought to the Wells Reserve at Laudholm by York County Master Gardener Volunteers.
