As part of its Pollinate New England project, New England Wild Flower Society will offer a free hands-on pollinator garden workshop for novice gardeners. Participants will learn how to select plants and install and care for their own gardens by helping to install a 150-square-foot pollinator garden. Please join us as we Pollinate New England! Minimum age: 14. Maximum group size: 15.

Annie White, PhD, ASLA is an ecological landscape designer specializing in pollinator-friendly landscapes. She is the owner and principal designer of Nectar Landscape Design Studio in Burlington, Vermont and is an adjunct professor at the University of Vermont. Annie holds a masters degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Wisconsin Madison and a PhD in Plant & Soil Science from the University of Vermont.

Mark Richardson, New England Wild Flower Society's botanic garden director, studied ornamental horticulture at the University of Rhode Island and holds a masters degree from the University of Delawares Longwood Graduate Program. In his roles as botanic garden director, he oversees the Society's 45-acre botanic garden, Garden in the Woods, and its Nasami Farm Native Plant Nursery.
