Yes. We're open every day from 7 am to sunset, so you can visit at your convenience.
Some indoor facilities are not typically open to the public, so if you would like a full tour please make advance arrangements with our wedding office at 207-646-4521 ext 151. Don't miss our virtual tour (above).
Friday 3pm to sunset, Saturday 7am to 11pm (no music after 10pm), Sunday 7am to 3pm.
Because you are obtaining the use of the site in return for your payment, your wedding fee is not a deductible expense.
Weddings are best suited between May and October.

Our historic barn, auditorium, and kitchen are reserved for your activities. The grounds are also open for open-air or tented activities. Public restrooms are available.
The rear of the barn is about 31'x32', the center aisle is 11 ft wide, and the front of the barn is about 31'x26'. The auditorium is about 33'x35'.
The maximum number of guests is 250. The barn can comfortably seat 130 to 150.
Yes, tents are allowed in designated areas. If it takes more than the standard set-up time (4-8 hrs), there will be an additional $200 daily impact fee.
The barn has a generator for backup lighting.
No.
We do not allow open flames or fire pits. Cookers must be contained and located in a designated area behind the barn and near the kitchen access door.
The Wells Reserve manages Laudholm Beach, but it is a public beach. We do not promote beach ceremonies, but they are permissible for small gatherings.
Wells Bay is visible from the Laudholm campus. It is a 10- to 20-minute walk to the beach (less than ? mile).
We do not offer golf carts or other vehicles for private use, but you may rent golf carts for transporting small groups to the beach for photos or to help chauffeur guests with disabilities.
Yes. A licensed State of Maine bartender or catering company must carry proof of their liquor license. Otherwise you must obtain Host Liquor Liability Insurance for the duration of your event.
A contract will be sent to you for signatures. A refundable security deposit and portion of the rental fee is due when remitting your contract. The remaining fees are due 6 months prior to your event. Payment MUST be received in the form of a cashiers check, money order, or credit card payment. NO EXCEPTIONS. Without a contract dates can only be held for three weeks.
While the Wells Reserve is a smoke-free facility, we have identified one designated smoking area.
