Next week is our first Winter Walker Wednesday and the weather looks good from here sunny and mid 30s. Meanwhile, this weekend will be bright but blustery. Bundle up.
Remember, the Visitor Center is closed until April, but trails and restrooms are ready 7am to sunset every day.
Nik played cat and mouse with a red fox on his Thursday walk to the beach and caught it on video! But overall it's been quiet, nature-report-wise, partly because few people are braving the brutal conditions. The sole eBirding duo out on the 17th did get treated to bluebirds, though.
