The National Audubon Society has deemed 2018 the "Year of the Bird," and thanks to a generous donation of beautiful images by the family of the late Tony King, the Wells Reserve at Laudholm is proud to present a new 30-minute slideshow of these captivating creatures in our Visitor Center this summer.

Tony King was a brilliant photographer, a beloved local figure, a long-time friend of the Wells Reserve, and a uniquely talented artist. 

Tony's family has shared nearly 300 of his best bird images (can you identify them all?) for this new slideshow. The Wells Reserve welcomes the public to discover and share Tony's clear fascination with our winged friends.

Tony's collections are available in photo books for adults and children from Time & Quiet Press; some are also available for sale in the Wells Reserve's Visitor Center Gift Shop.
